  • There’s no availability online, do you have any tables available?
    If there are no tables showing on our online booking system, we are fully booked. As this is a live system, we advise checking back regularly for cancellations.
  • Can I be added to a wait list?
    We do not operate a wait list however, we would advise regularly checking our online booking system for our live availability.
  • Do you get cancellations?
    We do get cancellations. Any cancelled tables will show on our online booking system as soon as the booking is released.
  • Can I book a bar table?
    Unfortunately, we do not accept bar bookings throughout our festive season (28th October 2024 - 5th January 2025). We do accept walk-ins for drinks in The Club Room & The Front Bar, from the queue that forms to the right-hand side of the building. Please note, The Grill Room is exclusively dining during this festive period.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    Restaurant Although we do not keep any tables specifically for walk-ins, should a table become available due to a last minute cancellation or no-show, we are more than happy to accept walk-ins on the day. Bar The Club Room & The Front Bar operate on a walk-in basis only. Please note, The Grill Rom is exclusively dining throughout our festive season (28th October 2024 - 5th January 2025).
  • What’s the room with the big Christmas tree?
    The Grill Room is our main restaurant under the dome ceiling. During the months of November and December we don our renowned Christmas decorations with a 26ft Christmas tree on top of the bar in the centre of The Grill Room.
  • How long are your vouchers valid for?
    Our vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • Can I get a voucher extension?
    We are happy to offer a small extension on gift vouchers. This must be authorised prior to redemption. For voucher extensions we advise contacting our office team via the contact form or by telephone on 0131 624 8624.
  • Are children allowed into The Dome?
    Children are more than welcome in all areas of The Dome. Whilst they are dining, children are permitted on the premises at any time. Should you be visiting for drinks only, children must vacate by 8pm.
  • Are dogs allowed into The Dome?
    We only allow service dogs on the premises.
  • Is The Dome wheelchair accessible?
    The Dome is fully wheelchair accessible with an easy to use, self-operated lift located to the left of the main steps. Once inside, The Club Room, Grill Room and Front Bar are all located on the ground floor with the Georgian tearoom and conference facilities accessible via a lift. Please ensure you make this known at the time of booking to ensure table assignment is made as comfortable as possible.
  • Can I book by email?
    We do not accept reservation via email as a deposit for reservations is required at the time of booking. We would never ask for card details to be provided to us by email.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit if I have a voucher?
    If you have a gift voucher, please call our reservations team to book on 0131 624 8624. We will accept your voucher code in place of a deposit.
